Ian has been a practicing artist and art educator for over 40 years having worked in the UK, West Indies and New Zealand. He now works full time as an artist in Nelson.

He works in 2 and 3 dimensions using a wide range of media, materials and processes. Ian often uses a figurative motif to explore people’s physical and emotional response to their environment.
