Kat Beyle
Viña del Mar, Chile
Kat Beyle is a visual artist and photographer whose work moves fluidly between fine art and editorial practice. With over 15 years of experience, she weaves emotional storytelling with strong visual styling to create work that is both intimate and impactful.
Originally from Chile and now based in Nelson, her practice explores themes of identity, belonging, and human connection to the natural world. Deeply inspired by the idea of photography as “writing with light,”
Kat works with techniques such as multiple exposure, slow shutter speed, and movement, blending analogue and digital processes to achieve a layered, light-driven aesthetic. Her passion for colour, style, and atmosphere informs both her personal projects and editorial collaborations.
Kat is also the founder of Wiphala Studio, a socially conscious platform dedicated to connecting people through peace, photography, and collaborative projects that use creativity as a tool for empathy, visibility, and healing.
Kat is a member of The Wall to Wall Gallery, Bridge St. Nelson
