Lesley works from her home studio in the small town of Takaka. She paints in acrylics on board. The wooden frames are sourced from secondhand shops and lovingly given a second life.

She was a working member of the Suter Art Society until ten years ago. Wishing to be a hands-on granny she moved to Rotorua to be near family. They moved away so Lesley decided to return to the South Island. Her colourful, quirky portraits of people and their pets are sure to brighten your day.
