Marion Towns is a visual artist who has an art studio in Golden Bay where she is constantly inspired by nature and life. Her deep and passionate connection to the landscape is openly spiritual, displaying a love of colour and respect for her fellow man. She identifies with the natural state of being, this shows in the essence of her landscapes and the nude in the landscape.

Marion has been painting for over 40 years. Her technical strength lies in pastels where she is exploring and experimenting new unique ways with this medium. She has exhibited in over 200 group and solo shows in New Zealand and overseas.
