Cynthia McKenzie is a pastel artist whose work celebrates the beauty and ever-changing moods of the New Zealand landscape. She seeks to capture the fleeting interplay of colour, light, and texture in nature — those brief, luminous moments that reveal the landscape’s soul.
“I want to make the colours sing,” Cynthia says of her layered pastel technique, which builds depth and brilliance across rough-textured paper. Inspired by artists such as Tony Allain and Marla Baggetta, her paintings are expressive rather than literal, reflecting her love of light, shadow, and the poetry of place.

Katrina Cosgrove’s art is a journey of self-discovery, transformation, and empowerment, reflecting the deep connection between nature and the human spirit. Through vibrant colour, dynamic form, and expressive abstraction, she explores themes of freedom, growth, and the beauty of new beginnings.
Katrina’s paintings aim to evoke a sense of peace and courage — inviting viewers to find inspiration and embrace their most authentic selves. Her work uplifts and celebrates life’s unfolding journey, offering a visual dialogue that speaks directly to the heart.
