Paul is one of New Zealand’s premier marine artists with a proven background in seafaring having worked in the Merchant Navy and sailed on a variety of alternate vessels.

Now retired and based in Nelson his marine paintings are exhibited in various select galleries throughout New Zealand. He is a fellow of the Australian Society of Marine Artists (F/ASMA), the New Zealand academy of Fine Art (NZAFA) and an established member of the Nelson Suter Art Society.

Working predominantly in oils on large and small canvases his paintings portray the essence of seafaring and all its nautical elements.
